OUR STORY
Built by a Miami parent, for Miami parents.
Finding things to do with kids in Miami shouldn't feel like a part-time job. We built Play Passport Miami because it did.
The problem we kept hitting
Every weekend, the same routine: scrolling Instagram, checking ten different city Parks & Rec calendars, asking the WhatsApp mom group, googling "free things to do in Miami this weekend" — only to realize the event is over, or two hours away, or actually $40 a head once you arrive.
Miami has hundreds of incredible places for kids — splash pads tucked into neighborhood parks, free museum days at PAMM and Frost, weekly story times at the library, food festivals along the bay. But the information is scattered, half of it is in Spanish, and most of it changes by the week.
Parents deserve one place that's honest, current, and built for the way we actually plan a weekend.
What we built
300+ vetted spots
Every park, splash pad, indoor playground, class, party venue, and free event is hand-checked. No SEO clones, no broken phone numbers.
Free-first
The default sort surfaces what costs nothing. Hundreds of free events every month, plus the BofA Museums-on-Us hack and PAMM Free Second Sundays.
Bilingual by default
Every event and venue available in English and Spanish (and Portuguese coming). Built for Miami families as they actually are.
Neighborhood-aware
Filter by Doral, Coral Gables, Aventura, Pinecrest, Miami Beach — wherever you live, see what's actually near you.
Age-aware
Tag every venue and event by age range. No more showing up with a 2-year-old to a 10-year-old's thing.
Free, with a profile that works for you
Browse without an account, or create a profile to add your kids' ages, get personalized suggestions, save your favorites, and plan your week. Always free. We don't sell your data.
From the founder
Real talk for a second.
Every weekend, I found myself jumping between Google, Instagram, Facebook groups, blogs, and random websites trying to figure out what to do with my kids in Miami. Sometimes I’d find amazing places through local moms online, but the information was scattered everywhere and hard to keep up with. I wanted one place that made discovering family activities feel easier, faster, and less overwhelming.
So I built Play Passport. A place where Miami families can discover events, camps, splash pads, classes, birthday spots, and hidden gems without having to search across ten different apps and websites. It’s free, bilingual, and built for real local families like mine.
Know a great local spot, event, or business we should feature? Send it our way. We love discovering new places through Miami families, creators, and local communities.
