Parking is $10 per car (ParkMobile zone #46261, Haulover Park Lot #2) and fills up early — arrive before noon or carpool. No dogs except service animals, and no glass or styrofoam. Bring sunscreen, water and a blanket; the field has almost no shade.
About This Event
Florida's biggest kite event returns to Haulover Park for its 34th year. Hundreds of kites fill the sky, including a 100-foot flying octopus, giant whales, a 30-foot astronaut and 300-square-foot parafoils. Bring your own kite of any size or buy one on site; families who just want to watch can spread out a blanket and enjoy the show with live music and food vendors.
