South Florida Adventure Pass
One pass, five major attractions, valid May 15 – Sept 30. Includes Zoo Miami, Butterfly World, Flamingo Gardens, MODS (Museum of Discovery and Science), and Sawgrass Recreation Park.
Worth it if you visit even twoof the five attractions. Zoo Miami alone is $25/adult at the gate. The 2026 pass also added Zoo Miami this year — last year it didn't include them.
Note: the "Summer Savings Pass" from past years is gone for 2026 — Adventure Pass is the only multi-attraction pass available now.

Every major chain runs a kids' summer movie series at deep discounts. Tickets usually sell at the box office only (no online ordering), and movies start 10am–10:30am on weekday mornings.

Apple Camp
Free 90-minute creative workshops for ages 6–10 at Apple Stores (Aventura, Lincoln Road, Dadeland, Brickell). Topics rotate: filmmaking, music, illustration. Held in summer 2026 — registration opens early summer.

First Saturday of every month, 9am–noon. Kids build a small wood project (birdhouse, planter, etc.) and keep what they make — totally free. All locations participate.

Monthly free build-it events for kids 5–12. Pre-registration required (filling fast in summer). Includes apron, safety glasses, and the project to take home.

Both county library systems run free summer reading programs with weekly prizes, performer events, and a graduation reward when kids hit their reading goal. Bonus: every branch has free A/C, story times, and craft hours.

50+ branches, summer reading for all ages (toddler to teen). Sign up at any branch or online. Free magic shows, science presentations, and music workshops weekly.
